Maiden Guard: Ancient East Indian warriors

I was very excited when the sculptor from Newline sent me these prototypes. Shawn has an amazing ability to sculpt realistic looking females. The Maiden Guard are mentioned in a few ancient texts, but no actual images exist from that time, so these figures are his interpretation of what these elite warriors might have been like. I chose to paint them in saffron-dyed kilts and used colors popular in Indian art for their shields and jewelry.
